We were lucky enough to stay at 104 Sky View Way from February
through April of 2013. It was perfect. This was our fourth year at
Colonial, and our third rental. We're afraid Torben and Linda have
spoiled us for all future rentals.
The setting on Sky View is wonderful. The lanai faces west and
overlooks a large pond, so every night we enjoyed magnificent sunsets.
The unit is located right across the street from the neighborhood pool,
which is a gathering spot for the friendly people on Sky View, and the
site of weekly cocktail parties. It is about a ten minute walk to the
Community Center, and a five minute walk in the other direction leads
into the Nature Preserve, with scenic trails and the opportunity to see
nature close up. One afternoon, I had a magical encounter with a doe and
her two spotted fawns.
Torben and Linda have furnished their home with exquisite taste.
The furniture is very attractive, but also comfortable - try the special
chair in the living room! The beds, both in the master and the guest
room, are also very comfortable and we slept well every night, as did our
guests. The kitchen is equipped with every imaginable convenience. If I
were a gourmet chef, I would have been in heaven. Small kitchen
appliances even included a combination food processor/blender. There are
plenty of dishes and glassware. Pots and pans are the best quality as
are the linens.
The condo comes with Wi-Fi, and the television in the living
room is truly state of the art and includes surround sound. The cooler
nights in February and March often found us hunkered down streaming
English television series from Netflix.
The unit comes with golf privileges, and we took full advantage
getting in almost forty rounds in our three months. We found the
tee-time system very easy to use, and were never blocked from play.
Colonial also sponsors 9-hole and 18-hole couples tournaments that are
fun to play in, and a great way to meet other members of the community.

My husband and I rented this very nicely appointed carriage home unit in Colonial Country Club for December/12 and January/13. It suited our needs perfectly! We were comfortably able to accommodate our family when they visited, as well as various friends who came to stay.
All aspects of what is provided is above average for a rental; from linens, to furniture, to electronics - everything is top notch. The unit is located on the 2nd floor, and offers a spectacular sunset view across a lake with the golf course in the distance. The pool, which is right across the street, is a good size with lots of lounging areas and tables.
We thoroughly enjoyed the golf course, which, with payment of a transfer fee, only cost us the price of the cart for each round - $74 for both of us. The course is challenging while very fair, and there are lots of tee choices to make the 18 hole course interesting. The many members we met were very friendly, and we enjoyed a number of very enjoyable meals and special events in the club house. There are lots of organized activities to participate in, if one is so inclined. We don't play tennis, but there seemed to be a very active membership using the courts. The Community Centre provides state of the art exercise equipment as well as fitness classes and massage therapy. The nature trail is most enjoyable and popular with walkers, runners and those just out for a stroll.
We have already booked for next winter!

Dealing with you and renting your house for the month of March 2012,
was one of the best decisions we ever made, because it was one of the
best vacations we have ever had! The word "Perfect" can be used to
describe everything about your lovely home, the Colonial Country Club,
the golf course, the pool right across the street, the walking path we
traveled daily, and the weather. Each day was more beautiful than
the day before.
The first time we entered the house, we could not believe how new
and fresh everything looked; all the beautiful furniture and
decorations were new and tastefully chosen so that each complemented the
decor.
My wife especially enjoyed the beautiful water views from each
room. We awoke to sun shining on the water and retired to stars and the
moon reflecting on the water.
She was also happy to have "everything" supplied to us in the
house, and all new from pots, pans, dishes, silverware, iron, towels and
everything else to make a "perfect" vacation.
Tee times were easy and always available for me due to the
accessibility of a seven day advance online EZ-lottery system.
As a summary, all was "Perfect" and no "Negatives". We would
certainly rent your house in the future and have already conveyed our
satisfaction to friends and family.
Best regards,
Al and Pat Porrini

Cathy and I are fairly discriminating re accommodations (own 2 homes of our own and stayed 6 years at Ritz Carlton Tiburon-Naples before leasing one month here at 10004 Sky View Way #104), but we couldn't have been more pleased! Everything about the condo was absolutely first-rate: freshly painted, spotlessly clean, spacious, immaculately decorated (we're even going to ask the owner about a couple of furnishings as we'd like to purchase same for our 2nd home in Williamsburg)!
Having played 124 18-hole rounds of golf last year, and a similar number each of the past four years on at least 25 different courses; I found Colonial to be extremely well kept, challenging but fair. And my wife loved the fact that the ladies tees didn't require having to "carry" a lot of unplayable scruff!.
Furthermore, the people in Colonial are very friendly. Nothing not to like!
